Convince the investors and the banks

Because biogas projects serve the needs of future generations, anaerobic digestion units require considerable funding, for long-term profitability.

Evergaz invests its own resources in anaerobic digestion projects, and mobilises financial and banking partners to join the projects. To mobilise reliable investors and convince the banks, Evergaz has developed sound and recognised financial expertise in the anaerobic digestion sector.

Equity investment

Evergaz uses its own funds to finance the anaerobic digestion units it operates.

Subsidy applications

Evergaz prepares subsidy applications for eligible study and investment costs. For example, Evergaz's projects have been supported by the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) or ADEME.

Creation of the business plan

To be sustainable and attract investors, anaerobic digestion projects must respond to economic criteria. Every Evergaz project involves a regularly updated business plan to guarantee the medium-term profitability of the project.

Mobilisation of investors and banks

Evergaz has developed its close-knit network of first-rate partner banks and investors, which has already resulted in successful collaborations such as Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, BPI France, Crédit Mutuel, Crédit Coopératif, Crédit Agricole or HSBC.

Creation of a project company

For every anaerobic digestion unit, a project company is created, involving Evergaz and the investment partners. All decisions relating to the project are made by the company, in a spirit of transparent and cooperative governance.
